NOTES
- We supply foam in all shapes and sizes, from foam cushions, cubes and bolsters, to geometric or even animal shapes for play areas and other installations .
- We believe that “ foam alone does not a cushion make”, and so most of our foam products come with a free Dacron and stockingette wrap. A double wrap is also available, at an extra £6 per cushion. It makes the cushion look plumper, and feel more supportive, customers who visit think it’s worth the extra!
- We are happy to offer free advice on which foam is best for you, for example, the deeper the cushion the softer the foam needs to be to prevent that “ sitting on concrete” feeling you get with unsuitable foam cushions . We have also found that “sandwiches” of foams with different qualities , for example our “Wrinklebuster” and “Supaspring” fillings, can give better support, or better looks, than single foams for many purposes.
- Bench foam is the most popular for cushions to go on a hard surface, but is best 7 cm thick or under, otherwise it starts to feel too firm. Mattress Soft or luxurious Supafeather Flat are better choices for 8 cm and up.
- Wrinklebuster is still the top seller for back pain sufferers.
- Wrinklebuster is not suitable for sofa back cushions - too firm.
- Back cushions should be softer than seat cushions, fibre backs and foam seats, or super soft foam backs, and Wrinklebuster seats are good combinations.
